Stuffed Green Peppers

Directions
Ingredients
  1. Cut tops off green peppers and remove seeds and membrane. Remove stem from top and save remaining ring.
  2. Place meat and remaining ingredients in a large bowl and combine, mixing well
  3. Divide meat and stuffed into prepared peppers. Place top ring on peppers and place in large pot. Repeat for all four peppers.
  4. Add large can of tomato sauce to pan and then add water to cover about 3/4 up side of peppers. Add pepper to taste if desired
  5. Cover pan and heat on stove using medium to medium low heat.
  6. Sauce should boil, adjust heat to allow slow boil and try to prevent pan from boiling over. Cook for approximately 45 minutes or until peppers are soft when pricked with a fork.
  7. Remove and place one pepper on plate or in bowl, add sauce as desired and enjoy.
