Notes: This is my great grandmother's recipe for raisin cookies. This is copied directly from and entry in a 1940's cookbook so directions and quanties are a little vague. My grandmother used make these cookies for when I visited, but my mother never made them as my dad hated raisins.I haven't made these yet, but will try and see if I can sort out the details. FYI - sour milk can be made by 1 T of vinegar to 1 cup of fresh milk. Let sit for five minutes.
