Mississippi Pot Roast

  Serves: 4 to 6 people           Cook Time: 8+ hours

Directions
Ingredients
  1. Place Chuck roast in bottom of slow cooker
  2. Sprinkle ranch dressing mix and Au Jus mix on top of chuck roast
  3. Cut up butter and place on top of roast
  4. Add some pepperocinis
  5. Cook on low for 8+ hours
  6. Remove meat and cover with foil to rest, thicken drippings to make gravy and then serve over mashed potatoes or rice or noodles or whatever you wish

Notes:This can also be done in Instapot if you are pressed for time. Just add one cup of beef broth to recipe and pressure cook for 55 minutes and allow natrual release of pressure.

Can also be done as a slow cook on BGE. Smoke on grate at 230 for about two hours, then place chuck rost and remaining Ingredients in foil pan, cover with foil and continue to cook at 230 for 6+ hours, until fork tender. (this is the most flavorful method)
