- 1/2 cup Cisco
- 2 cup Sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 t vanilla
- 4 cups flour
- 2 t baking soda
- 1/2 t baking powder
- 3/4 cup cocoa
- 1 cup milk
- 5 T flour
- 1 3/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup Crisco
- 1/4 t salt
- 1 t vanilla
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees
- Cream together sugar and Crisco
- Add eggs, milk, boiling water, and vanilla
- Sift togehter flour, baking soda, baking powder, and cocoa
- Add to mixture
- Drop by spoon onto ungreased cookie sheet
- Bake 5-7 minutes at 450 degrees
- Combine milk and flour in a saucepan. Cook until think, then let mixture cool
- Once cool, add bowdered sugar, Crisco, salt and vanilla
- Beat until creamy and fluffy
- pair up similar size cakes, spread icing between cakes
- wrap in wax paper
